Getting Around Nazareth
Here is some helpful information to help medical students navigate their way to, from and around Nazareth:
Parking is free at Nazareth Hospital
Parking is in the employee lot behind the hospital. A parking card will be assigned to you during orientation day for the duration of your time here at Nazareth.

Nazareth Hospital does not provide housing
Nazareth Hospital is approximately 30 minutes from Center City Philadelphia.
Orientation will occur on the first day of the start of the rotation.
Information, which will include additional orientation information and EMR logon, will be distributed via email approximately two weeks before the start of your rotation.
Nazareth Hospital does not require medical students to carry pagers. All contact is made via cell phone or email.

In-House: Dial ‘2’ then the four-digit extension. To reach an outside line, dial 9. Paging any physician overhead is discouraged.
The Security Department has an office on the first floor of the hospital, behind the outpatient registration area. There is a security desk in the main lobby. The Security Department can be contacted at 215.335.6008.
The cafeteria is located on the second floor of the hospital. The hours are:
Breakfast: 6:30 to 10 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Dinner: 4 to 6:30 p.m.
The cafeteria is open continuously from 6:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. for beverages and snacks. Vending machines are located off of the main lobby corridor, in the Emergency Department lobby alcove and in the elevator lobby on the fifth floor of the hospital.
An ATM is located in the vending machine area beside the Emergency Department.
