Mercy Catholic Medical Center’s faculty members bring their day-to-day experience of caring for patients into their approach to teaching. Transitional year residents work side-by-side with physicians in general surgery, internal medicine, radiology, emergency medicine, and primary care among other disciplines to develop the clinical skills they need. Each faculty member, a board-certified physician in his or her specialty, strives to provide quality and productive experience for residents during the transitional year.
