“At the Mercy Valve Center, we take pride in dealing with the whole patient. We value the heart team approach, and we work in tandem with our cardiothoracic surgical team on behalf of our patients. We review all potential therapeutic options and offer a diagnostic treatment strategy to our patients, their families, and our referral partners. We pride ourselves on being able to work closely with our patients through the entire process, including accurate diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
Through our collaboration with Penn Cardiac Care, we can direct appropriate patients in a timely fashion for percutaneous valve interventions, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement.
The Mercy Valve Center embodies all the virtues in medicine which motivated me to become a cardiologist many years ago: Being able to offer life changing and life-saving care, but never losing sight of the goal of finding the best treatment for each individual patient.”
