“I love being part of my patients’ lives and supporting them as their needs change over time,” she shares.

She also appreciates that family medicine gives her room to grow alongside her patients. The specialty’s broad scope allows her to incorporate new skills and interests in ways that strengthen the care she provides.

“There is so much room to grow in this field,” Dr. Mukasa explains. “Whether it is incorporating procedures or focusing on areas like women’s health, addiction medicine, or obesity medicine, I enjoy being able to bring additional expertise to the people who rely on me.”

Dr. Mukasa’s connection to Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic began during her residency in Delaware County, where she experienced firsthand the environment she would later choose to practice in.

“During my residency, I really grew to appreciate the people here,” she shares. “What stood out to me about Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic was the way patients are treated with authenticity and attentiveness. The organization’s mission aligns with the kind of physician I strive to be.”
