Meet Our Podiatry Residents
PGY-3
Farid Elhadidy, DPM
Farid, a proud Philadelphia native, earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Temple University before pursuing his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) at Temple University's School of Podiatric Medicine. With a strong commitment to providing the best care, Farid has dedicated his career to improving the lives of his patients while giving back to the community he cherishes. In his spare time, he enjoys being with family and friends, traveling, playing soccer, boating, and running.
Rishab Mutpur, DPM
Rishab is from Detroit, Michigan where he graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in Nutrition & Food Science and a minor in Public Health. He then took his talents to Philly to earn his DPM degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. During his non-residency hours, he enjoys losing sports bets, cooking, traveling, and finding the newest Philly bars/restaurants.
PGY-2
Suroor Abbas, DPM
Suroor Abbas grew up in New Jersey for a majority of his life and is originally from India. He earned his Master of Biomedical Sciences from Rowan University before graduating from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Outside of residency, Suroor enjoys 3D printing, film, photography, and travel. During the year he stays active through snowboarding and soccer.
La’Tila Wilson, DPM
I grew up in Queens, N.Y., and relocated to Richmond, Va., to raise my family. While in Virginia, I earned my M.S. in Cellular molecular biology before graduating from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. I like spending time with my husband and children in my free time, as well as attending live jazz shows in the area for date nights.
PGY-1
Jeremiah Asante, DPM
Jeremiah Asante was born in Ghana and made his way to the United States as a child, settling in Maryland where he began his academic journey. He earned his BA in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, followed by a Master’s in Medical Science from Hampton University; at which point a reasonable person might have stopped, but he pressed on to New York College of Podiatric Medicine to earn his DPM.
When he’s not in the hospital, Jeremiah can be found spending time with his family, watching entirely too much sports, and heroically attempting to reclaim the physique he had in college; a battle he is currently losing but refuses to concede.
Claudia Colon, DPM
Claudia was born and raised in the beautiful town of Moca, Puerto Rico. She attended the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in English Writing and Communication. She then received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Outside of residency, Claudia enjoys playing the violin, traveling back home to Puerto Rico to spend time with her family and friends, and relaxing at the beach whenever she gets the chance.
