The summary from 7/14 are inaccurate, complications and benefits explained: No, I wasn鈥檛 handed any instructions or pamphlet or anything. I was asked to sign consent before hand that鈥檚 about it. I also asked for the lidocaine that鈥檚 an INJECTION not a spray. Getting this inserted in hurt more than the first time.Patient questions answered: NoPatient agrees, verbalizes understanding, and wants to proceed: NoOutside of asking for my old IUD, you didn鈥檛 inform me or debrief me of anything else after insertion. Complications (after insertion) : yesThis insertion should have not been this painful. This isn鈥檛 my first IUD. When I mentioned the pain during measuring I was ignored. Post procedure instructions given: noI had to ask For them at the front desk. No aftercare was given or other instructions besides putting my clothes on after insertion. Patient will follow up for string check: noI wasn鈥檛 aware I had to follow up for a string check
