U.S. News & World Report names Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic hospitals among best in region for 2025-2026
August 1, 2025Newtown Square, Pa. – (July 31, 2025) – Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is pleased to announce that it has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report—the global authority in hospital rankings and consumer advice—as high performing for numerous procedures and conditions.
The annual Best Hospitals rankings and ratings are designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive quality care for challenging health conditions or elective procedures.

St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic located in Langhorne, Pa., along with fellow Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic member Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, Pa., have been recognized by U.S. News as 2025-2026 High Performing hospitals for the following procedures and conditions. This is the highest award a hospital can earn for U.S. News’ Best Hospitals Procedures and Conditions ratings.

U.S. News evaluated more than 4,400 hospitals across 15 adult specialties and 22 procedures and conditions, with only one third of them earning an award. To determine the Best Hospitals, U.S. News analyzed each hospital’s performance based on objective measures such as risk-adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications and level of nursing care. The Best Hospitals Specialty rankings methodology and Procedures and Conditions ratings methodology measure patient outcomes using data from over 800 million records of patient care.
