Jarius Pettey joined Nazareth Hospital in October 2021. He enjoys providing direct care to patients and cultivating an environment where patients are grateful for extraordinary treatment they receive at Nazareth Hospital.
Pettey’s manager, Kathleen Lorenz, RN, says that he is an exceptional colleague and a deserving recipient of this award. “Jarius’ quick and selfless decision to put others’ safety ahead of his own helped prevent a much worse situation,” says Lorenz. “It takes a lot of courage to do what he did. His colleagues are fortunate to have him on the team.”
