Philadelphia, Pa. — (April 30, 2025) — Nazareth Hospital recently presented a DAISY® Award to Andriana Lopez, RN, a nurse in the Emergency Department.

Lopez was nominated for this prestigious award by a fellow nurse in the Nazareth Hospital Emergency Department. Andriana “handles the stress of the Emergency Department with professionalism and a steadfast demeanor,” says the nominating nurse.

The DAISY Award is a program that recognizes excellence in nursing. It was created by The DAISY Foundation to highlight the clinical skills, extraordinary passion and care exemplified by nurses every day. Award recipients consistently demonstrate each of the award’s criteria of Dedicated, Autonomous, Innovative, Selfless and Extraordinary.

Lopez joined Nazareth Hospital in January 2012. She is a kind and caring nurse who is always attentive to her patients’ needs.

Lopez’s manager, Kathleen Lorenz, RN, says that Lopez is a dedicated team member and deserving recipient of this award. “Andriana multitasks with ease and makes her colleagues feel supported at all times” says Lorenz. “Our patients are fortunate to be in her care.”
