Dre BoydSilver Spring, Md. (April 13, 2026) — Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic today announced that Regional President and Chief Executive Officer Andre Boyd Sr., FACHE, has received the 2026 Diversity in Business Award from the Washington Business Journal. The award recognizes leaders who demonstrate exceptional commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion within their organizations and the broader community.

Now in its 19th year, the Diversity in Business Awards program celebrates Greater Washington’s diverse population and its importance to the local economy. The Business Journal selects honorees from community and newsroom nominations, based entirely on their merits, achievements and contributions to their organizations and the local community. Commercial interests with the Business Journal are not considered in the selection process.

“I am deeply honored to receive this recognition from the Washington Business Journal,” Boyd said. “This award reflects the collective efforts of our entire team, who are committed every day to creating a more inclusive environment for our patients, colleagues and community. At Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, we believe that embracing diversity and advancing health equity are essential to delivering the highest-quality, most accessible care possible.”

This year’s class includes prominent leaders in health care, banking, technology, commercial real estate, professional services and the nonprofit sector. Honorees were celebrated on April 9 at the Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown and profiled in the online and print editions of the Business Journal on April 10.

“Andre’s leadership has had a profound impact on our organization and the communities we serve,” said Vincent Gordon, chair of the Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Regional Board of Directors. “This recognition by the Washington Business Journal is a testament to his unwavering commitment to equity, inclusion and excellence. We are proud to have a leader who not only sets a clear vision but also drives meaningful, lasting change.”
