Meet Raj H. Patel, MD

We are proud to highlight one of our PGY-3 residents, Raj H. Patel, MD, for an amazing year of academic achievement, culminating in a well-earned match into a Gastroenterology fellowship.

He has demonstrated a strong commitment to research, delivering three oral presentations at ESGE Days in Barcelona, Spain—an internationally recognized forum in gastrointestinal endoscopy. Presenting multiple times at this level reflects both the depth of his work and his ability to engage with a global audience.

His research has also been featured in Gastroenterology & Endoscopy News, including the article titled “Delayed Endoscopic Management of Esophageal Variceal Bleeding Linked to Higher Mortality.” 

This recognition underscores the clinical significance of his work and its contribution to ongoing conversations in the field.

Throughout residency, he has balanced scholarly productivity with clinical excellence. We congratulate him on these accomplishments and look forward to his continued success in fellowship.
