St. Mary Internal Medicine Program Update

As the seasons change, so do the achievements and milestones within the St. Mary Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program. We are excited to reconnect with you and share some updates about the residency program. Your continued support and involvement help shape the success of our program, and we’re grateful to have you as part of our alumni community.

This year, we’ve made several enhancements to our curriculum to prepare residents for the evolving challenges in internal medicine. Key changes include:

  • POCUS curriculum: We’ve expanded our POCUS curriculum to stay up to date with current cutting-edge technology and practice of medicine.
  • Increased focus on wellness: Recognizing the demands of residency, we’ve introduced more structured wellness initiatives to promote mental and emotional health among residents.
  • Hospitalist track: We will be starting our hospitalist track to enhance resident learning in life after residency as a hospitalist

Additionally, we are thrilled to announce this year’s fellowship match results. We congratulate the following two internal medicine residents:

  • Patrick May, DO, Virtual Rowan Cardiology
  • Daniel Pak, MD, Nazareth Cardiology

We are so proud of everything our alumni have accomplished and grateful for the foundation of excellence and community that continues to build. Your journey after residency is a testament to the strength of our program, and we look forward to the next chapter in our shared legacy.
