For Jing Liang, CRNP, joining Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic as a family medicine nurse practitioner wasn’t just the start of a career, but also the beginning of a calling shaped by personal connection, lasting relationships and compassionate care.
“I knew I was meant to pursue a career in family medicine after shadowing my mentor during clinicals in nurse practitioner school,” Liang shares. “I loved seeing how he worked and how passionate he was with his patients. It was truly inspiring.”
She continues to find motivation and excitement in the opportunity to build relationships with her patients, many of whom have been with the practice for years. Some even travel long distances for care. “I hope to follow patients throughout my career,” she says. “It’s like they’re family.”
What makes her experience even more meaningful is the sense of teamwork and support she’s found from day one. She recalls the experience of visiting specialist offices on her first day to help better collaborate with her colleagues.
“Everyone has been so accommodating and helpful,” she explains. “I love the cohesiveness in working together as a team.”
