Nazareth Hospital supplements its clinical teaching with a rich series of structured daily conferences. These conferences provide residents with ample opportunity to discuss clinical cases, review evidence-based guidelines, and learn from various other faculty members.
Occurs daily from 7 to 8 a.m. Housestaff present interesting and complex cases, guided by the Chief Resident and one of our senior faculty.
Board review occurs weekly as all members of the residency participate, with utilization of MKSAP, the chief resident, and senior faculty members.
Housestaff and faculty attend weekly Grand Rounds Wednesday afternoon.
The didactics series occur weekly, which cover basic clinical topics and progressing to advanced disease processes led by senior faculty members.
Journal Club occurs biweekly, where residents present groundbreaking articles in a particular field of medicine, which is precepted by various senior faculty members.
Led by our oncologists, radiologist and surgeons, tumor board occurs biweekly and provides a multidisciplinary approach to various case presentations and approach to patient care.
