Time is of the essence in diagnosing and treating stroke, and the highly experienced teams are ready around the clock to provide quality care.
Know the symptoms of stroke
A stroke happens when blood has suddenly stopped flowing to the brain. If you suspect a stroke, just remember the word “FAST” and check for these symptoms immediately:
F – Face. Ask the person to smile. Does one side of the face droop?
A – Arms. Ask the person to raise both arms. Does one arm drift downward?
S – Speech. Ask the person to repeat a simple phrase. Is their speech slurred or strange?
T – Time. If the answer to any of these questions is “yes,” call 911 immediately.
