Recipe: Sweet Potato Dip

Sweet potato dipIngredients

1 large sweet potato
1 tsp. honey
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. Cajun seasoning, salt free or no salt added
1∕8 tsp. sea salt


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake sweet potato for 45 minutes or until completely cooked and soft. 
  2. Let cool completely. Remove skin from sweet potato. 
  3. In a food processor fitted with a standard blade, puree with honey, cinnamon, Cajun seasoning, and salt.

Serves eight. A serving is 2 tbsp. Each serving contains about 40 calories, 0 g fat (0 g saturated fat, 0 g trans fat), 0 mg cholesterol, 45 mg sodium, 9 g carbohydrates, 3 g sugar, 1 g fiber, and 1 g protein.
