Residency training is an intensive learning experience for pharmacists who are seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge base to meet the demands of a dynamic, complex healthcare environment. St. Mary Medical Center is proud to announce their postgraduate year one (PGY-1) program and has been awarded pre-candidate status by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Located in southern Bucks County, Pennsylvania, St. Mary is a Level 2 Trauma Center, 371-bed community-teaching hospital.

At St. Mary, we pride ourselves on advancing the practice of medicine by investing in the most current technologies and therapies coupled with strong clinical expertise. Our overall mission is "Care, Technology, Simple Human Kindness". With a diverse group of subspecialties and centers of excellence at the hospital, the PGY-1 program offers the opportunity to rotate through a variety of experiences.

Additionally, St. Mary is a member of Trinity Health, the second largest non-profit health system in the country. As a member of such a large health system, there is the distinctive opportunity to participate in large scale initiatives extending beyond our individual hospital and affording leadership and practice management skill refinement.

Our program will offer experiences that will allow graduates to become confident, competent practitioners practicing at the top of their licenses and further advancing the field of pharmacy. We invite you to explore our website further for more detailed information about this unique opportunity.
