Nazareth Hospital Hosts Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce
Northeast Philadelphia, PA (October 24, 2017): On October 17, Nazareth Hospital hosted the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce (GNPCC) at a breakfast meeting, where Medical Director for the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine, Dr. Steven Wilbraham, spoke about the evolving field of advanced wound care. His talk included situations when wound care is necessary, priorities in wound healing, and innovations in treatment. GNPCC President Pam Henshall and GNPCC Chair and Nazareth Executive Director Nancy Cherone, FACHE, kicked off the event.
The Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine at Nazareth Hospital has a twofold mission: first, to halt injury by promoting healing, and second, to accelerate healing by preventing further injury. From infection monitoring and prevention to hyperbaric oxygen therapy, the Center offers a wide range of services performed by a knowledgeable and experienced team of clinicians.
