Mercy Sports Medicine Welcomes New Physician
Philadelphia, Pa. (November 7, 2017) — Mercy Sports Medicine has added a new Orthopedic Specialist to its staff: Michael Y. Yang, MD.
Dr. Yang received his medical degree from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, NJ. He completed a residency with a focus on sports medicine and musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries at Chestnut Hill Family Practice in Philadelphia, Pa., where he also received a Residency Teaching Award. Dr. Yang also completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Sacred Heart/Temple, where he served as a team physician for Lehigh University and Parkland High School. Previously Dr. Yang was an attending physician with Patient First Urgent Care.
