Mercy Fitzgerald and Mercy Philadelphia Welcome New Surgeons

Karen KishDARBY (February 4, 2016): Physicians specializing in breast surgery and bariatric surgery are the latest to join the Department of Surgery at Mercy Fitzgerald and Mercy Philadelphia. Karen J. Kish, MD and Piotr Krecioch, MD are providing patient care at both facilities.

A member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, Dr. Kish is a board-certified surgeon focused on treating patients with breast disease and breast cancer as part of a team delivering comprehensive women’s healthcare services. Dr. Kish earned her medical degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine and completed a fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She joins the Mercy Breast Surgery practice and is accepting new patients at each hospital: Mercy Fitzgerald at 610.237.7922 and Mercy Philadelphia at 215.748.9530.

Piotr KreciochDr. Krecioch comes to Mercy from Geisinger Medical Center, where he recently completed a fellowship in bariatric surgery and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Krecioch completed a residency at Hahnemann University Hospital and earned his medical degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). Dr. Krecioch will provide general surgery and bariatric surgery services at both hospitals, as part of the Mercy Surgical Associates practice, which can be reached at 610.534.6170.
